When I used to think of creatine I thought it was just for people who wanted to put on muscle and because I really wasn’t interested in “bulking” I steered clear.
Likewise, when I thought of collagen I thought it was for people who just wanted to improve the look of their skin. I used a powdered collagen for a long time, but wasn’t all that impressed with the results. Oh boy! How things have changed!

As it turns out creatine and collagen are for much more than those two superficial outcomes. There is no doubt about it, we are symbiotic in nature. If we want to improve our “outside” results we have to commit to getting better “inside” results.
Outside Pharma intervention is temporary, it comes with a price tag financially, but also often with a price tag to our health. What are we injecting into our bodies? Can we really know? Creatine is an amino acid located mostly in your body's muscles as well as in the brain. Most people get creatine through pork, seafood and red meat. Eating mindfully can increase the amount of creatine you take in. The body's liver, pancreas and kidneys also can make about 1 gram of creatine per day.

Injury prevention. Oral creatine might reduce the frequency of dehydration, muscle cramps, and injuries to the muscles, bones, ligaments, tendons and nerves. Making mobility a lot more accessible. Ever noticed as people age they decline into more of a shuffle than a walk?

Cognition and brain health. Creatine may improve performance during cognitive tasks, especially in older adults.

Collagen is a protein found in connective tissue, skin, tendons, bone and cartilage. It is the most abundant protein found in animals. A structural protein it makes up the scaffolding of your cells and tissues.
