Mind Control is not at all like it’s portrayed in the old Bugs Bunny cartoons. “Look into my eyes you are getting very sleepy”. 😵💫
You won’t see a strange caped magician walking around the streets putting spells on people to overtake their minds. That’s not it!
That kind of depiction of mind control is silly and used for theatrics. Come to think of it, it’s kind of smart. What better way to conceal tactics of mind control than to portray to the masses that it isn’t real?
Mind control or brainwashing as its sometimes known is a real condition. Even publications like NPR and National Geographic have written articles about mind control.
It comes under the umbrella of persuasion and influence. It’s a psychological tactic used to change people's beliefs and behaviors.
.
Mind control exists on a spectrum.
.
At one end we have ethical and respectful influence which respects the individual, their thoughts, opinions and choices. At the other end we have destructive manipulation that aims to destroy a person of their identity, independence, ability to think critically, rationally or logically.
.
When we think of mind control we probably most commonly associate it with cults. An outsider of a cult looks inside a cult and immediately thinks, “How could anyone fall for that?”.
The reality is it didn’t happen overnight. The stage was likely set years prior, much like what we all witnessed unfold over the last few years with the pandemic response.
Had we all been in tip top physical shape with an understanding that our lifestyle impacts our ability to weather sickness the controllers would have never been able to implement the level of mind control that they did. The stage was set for dependence on Pharma and government for safety guidance through years of marketing “a pill for every ill”.
If you find yourself scoffing at the notion that we have been the recipients of an elaborate mind control operation, explain to me why just a few days ago (2023) I saw a woman outside wearing 2 masks while pushing a baby in a stroller wearing a paper mask with two eye holes cut into it.
.
That my friends is mind control!
.
Once you understand that mind control is a strategy used to control people’s actions you’ll never watch TV commercials the same way and you may even look differently at some of the relationships you have.
.
Some key characteristics used to implement mind control.
.
Isolation. Controller promotes separation from friends, family and work. Based in concern for well being.
.
Mind control involves a level of trust in the relationship of the controlled and the person doing the controlling. This includes trust in another person that may be backed by an agency or institution that has gained trust over larger groups.
.
Some level of dependency is involved emotionally, financially or for guidance and perceived safety.
.
Repetition is used both in ritual and in use of language. Put on a mask before entering, stay 6 feet apart. The same phrases and instructions are repeated over and over. “Safe and effective”.
.
Fear is invoked. Do this or else! The controlled begin to feel like they don’t know what to do and they hang on to the controllers every word for next instructions. The controlled are afraid to act outside of the controllers instruction. A year and a half into covid I received a graduation invitation that included the CDC recommendations for a home party.
.
Very few choices are available when someone is attempting to brainwash another. This is the only way. “We will vaccinate ourselves out of this pandemic”.
.
A controlled environment is needed for mind control. The environment is used like a funnel to steer people into making very specific choices. All dissenting voices must be silenced.
.
Certainly there are even deeper levels of mind control that may involve drugs, severe physical abuse and other horrifying abusive techniques.
.
The mind control I’m talking about here is the kind that is more subtle but perhaps even more effective because people rarely see it for what it is and it’s more difficult for outsiders to provide help.
.
When you apply these tactics to a familiar situation it’s easy to see how mind control is effective. Knowing how to identify such tactics can help us maintain our individuality and keep us from making decisions that don’t benefit us.
.
Can you think of a time when maybe you experienced some mind control? Maybe you have some limiting beliefs or some regret that you didn’t act as you thought you would have? Nobody is immune to mind control, it doesn’t t have anything to do with intelligence or how strong or weak we are. It is a calculated strategy to manipulate outcomes.
The antidote to mind control is understanding that these psychological tactics are used to shift behaviors all the time. Mind control has been used historically and in present day to change the culture of a country through the manipulation of its citizenry.
